COVID-19 has changed our way of life. Our economy and healthcare systems are being hit from all sides, and the way we work and interact with each other has changed dramatically. Small businesses all over the country are hurting. The Dial An Angel Perth team are persevering, working to keep our doors open and to ensure the Clients we work with are receiving the services they need. While we limit the spread we also need to keep the economy moving and people in jobs – and keeping small businesses afloat is key to this.

Dial An Angel Perth exists to help West Australians with the services they require in their homes and businesses. However, our Clients rightly tell us they are worried about the health risks they face if they invite someone to perform work in their home. And beyond the health risks, they are concerned that Government guidelines prohibit this type of interaction altogether. Government regulations at this time do not prohibit work being done; obtaining a service and travelling for work is still permitted in all states. For now, our state and federal governments support most forms of work. In fact, given the economic peril facing our country, we are being urged as consumers to continue buying from local businesses when this can be done safely and within social distancing guidelines. So unless and until further restrictions on movement and work are applied, you are still able to engage a local small business.

How Dial An Angel Perth is adapting to the Coronavirus pandemic?

Our business understands the guidelines and takes every precaution to ensure the safety of our Team Members and our Clients. We have been adjusting the way we operate to protect you, and themselves. Many are now:

  • Providing varied services for Clients who are unable to leave their home, for example collecting shopping.
  • Limiting the number of people on-site providing services.
  • Offering contactless service, Clients are absent when services are provided.
  • Continuing to follow health and hygiene procedures like limiting cross contamination.
  • Following quoting procedures that are in compliance with social distancing rules.
